Shipping policy

We carefully pack every Tomo & Timber order and aim to get it on its way as quickly as possible.

Where We Ship

Tomo & Timber currently ships within Canada.

Some products may be subject to shipping restrictions based on destination, product type, size, weight, or carrier regulations.

All orders ship from within Canada, so there are no additional import duties, tariffs, or customs brokerage fees on delivery.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or statutory holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During busy periods, product launches, holidays, or promotional events, processing may take a little longer.

Processing time is separate from delivery transit time. Estimated delivery times begin once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Rates

Standard Shipping: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order, delivery destination, and available carrier services.

FREE Standard Shipping on eligible orders of $299 CAD or more, after discounts and before taxes.

Some exclusions apply to the free-shipping offer, including:

Oversized or unusually heavy products
Fuel canisters, compressed gas, and other regulated products
Certain rural, remote, northern, or difficult-to-service destinations

Products that do not qualify for FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $299 or more will be clearly identified in their respective product descriptions.

Products requiring special shipping arrangements may be subject to additional handling charges or carrier restrictions.

Applicable shipping charges will normally be displayed at checkout. If an additional charge is necessary after an order has been placed, we will contact you for approval before shipping. You may decline the additional charge and cancel the affected order for a full refund.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery transit times are provided where available and begin when your order is shipped, not when it is placed.

Please allow an additional 1–3 business days for order processing before the estimated transit time begins.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, transportation disruptions, remote destinations, regulatory requirements, and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.

Tracking Your Order

When tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow some time for the carrier's tracking system to update after your shipment has been created.

Remote and Rural Destinations

Additional shipping charges or longer delivery times may apply to certain rural, remote, northern, or difficult-to-service destinations.

If your order requires a significant additional shipping charge that was not collected at checkout, we will contact you before shipping.

You will have the option to approve the additional shipping charge or cancel the affected order for a full refund.

Fuel and Compressed Gas

Fuel canisters, compressed gas, and other regulated or hazardous products require special transportation arrangements.

Fuel is offered primarily as an accessory to compatible camping equipment rather than as a standalone purchase.

Fuel Ground Shipping is available for $14.95 CAD on orders of $69 CAD or more, based on the total cart value after discounts and before taxes.

Fuel and compressed-gas products are not eligible for FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $299 or more.

The Fuel Ground Shipping charge applies separately from any applicable standard shipping charges and remains payable regardless of the total order value.

Fuel products are shipped using an approved ground carrier, subject to applicable dangerous goods requirements and destination restrictions. Where permitted, fuel may be packaged with other products in the same shipment.

These products may not be available for delivery to all Canadian destinations.

Fuel canisters, compressed gas, and similar hazardous products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by applicable law or where Tomo & Timber has shipped an incorrect product.

If there is a problem with a fuel or compressed-gas product, please contact us before attempting to return or ship it.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your order.

If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to correct the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has entered the shipping process.

Customers may be responsible for additional shipping costs if an order must be redirected, returned, or shipped again because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided at checkout.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and keep the product and all shipping materials.

We may request photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping carton so we can assess the issue and assist with the carrier claim.

If tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check around the delivery location and with other members of your household before contacting us.

If a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate and determine the appropriate next steps.

Multiple Shipments

In some cases, items from the same order may ship separately due to packaging requirements, product restrictions, or shipping logistics.

If this happens, you may receive more than one tracking number.

You will not be charged additional shipping solely because Tomo & Timber chooses to split an order into multiple shipments. Any special shipping charges associated with the products ordered will be disclosed as outlined in this policy.
