The Snow Peak Pile Driver is an ingeniously simple lantern stand that puts light exactly where you need it, without the clutter of tripod legs.

Its clever self-hammering design lets you drive the pointed steel pole directly into the ground using the sliding upper section — no separate hammer required. Once securely planted, adjust the telescoping pole to your preferred height and hang your lantern from the integrated hook.

Made in Japan from chrome-plated steel, the Pile Driver extends up to 240 cm, making it easy to illuminate a campsite, dining area or outdoor gathering space. When it's time to pack up, it retracts to just 110 cm for transport.

Why We Like It

We love how the Pile Driver gives us the freedom to place a lantern almost anywhere there's suitable ground. Without tripod legs taking up space or creating a tripping hazard, it's especially useful beside a camp table, near a tent or along the edge of a gathering area.

Use & Care: Designed for secure installation in suitable ground. Drive the stake approximately 20–30 cm into the soil before adjusting the height and hanging your lantern. Exercise care around buried utilities and avoid rocky or unsuitable surfaces. Keep the protective cap on the pointed tip during storage and transport.
