Why we like it

We love the freedom this fireplace gives us. We're no longer limited to existing fire rings or fixed fire pits — we can arrange our campsite around where we actually want to gather, provided fires are permitted.

With the proper ground protection, we can enjoy a real wood fire while helping preserve the surface beneath it. It's a more thoughtful way to enjoy a campfire without leaving our mark behind.

And while there are plenty of similar folding fire pits today, there's something satisfying about owning the original Snow Peak design. Simple, substantial and built for years of memorable evenings outdoors.

Important: Ground Protection & Safe Use

Although the elevated design helps keep the fire off the ground, radiant heat and falling embers can still damage grass and other surfaces. We recommend using the appropriate Snow Peak Fireplace Base Plate and Base Plate Stand, or other suitable heat-resistant ground protection, to minimize scorching and protect the area beneath the fireplace.

Always use the fireplace on a stable, suitable surface and only where open fires are permitted. Follow local fire regulations, campsite rules and seasonal fire bans. A portable fireplace does not override restrictions on open fires.
